In this project the goal was to reach the visual quality provided by movies in to the game engine; using the assets and lights at disposal in the editor.
I choose to target Agraba because I believe that the visual quality provided by Disney has always been at the top level in the world of entertainment.
I'm really satisfied with the result especially considering the short amount of time that I had a disposal to achieve my goal.
This project has been made only in UDK using the default assets of the Editor.

UDK Environmental Project
In order to match the reference I had to built the scene with a theatre set up.
In this view you see the scene from the room of Aladdin. I used the temple stones assets to recreate the room and a terrain editor to simulate the carpet
Agraba was the most fun part of the project. The town is created using simple cubes with a new texture recycled from UDK and tuned in order to fake the architecture of the town.
The Palace represent the masteries of Disney. Is made by really simple shapes that permit me to recreate the structure really quickly, but it looks amazing.
In order to match the target I had to set up the scene in order to simulate the perspective.
In the scene the lights are design to focus the view on the Palace. I apply some horizontal spotlights on the city in order to create a sense of depth and mistery.
From this picture it broke the magic. What I learn from this project is that are the results that matter, especially in the entertainment field.
The process that I used to achieve the goal was simple and fun. First I placed the camera and I start to build the room around it.
After the room was builted I built the palace and the city, creating a set prefabs.
